Dying. The Tunnel Effect and Angels – Helpers

Quotes for the outline are taken from the book series "Life Between Lives".

Dying

When the Soul departs from this World for its astral post-mortem journey, the physical body may still for some time demonstratively continue to "suffer" from agonizing torment, accompanied by all sorts of noise, sharp convulsions, tormented screams, and prolonged mournful moans. For the eyewitness, this process is full of suffering; it always frightens those who observe the dying process, confounds with its incomprehensible phases, and even terrifies.

The dreadful picture of a painful Death, accompanied by convulsions of agony and body spasms, wheezing and screaming — all this is purely an external effect of Life leaving the physical body abandoned by the Soul. To the ALREADY liberated Soul, all these horrors have no relation whatsoever.

Furthermore, due to the excess carbon dioxide abundantly released during the process of Soul separation, pain is completely absent in this body. Therefore, you should know that no matter how agonizing the process preceding dying and the rejection of the Soul from its former dense shell may be, in the very last moments of Death, the sensation of pain is practically always and for everyone absent.

During our astral observations of the dying processes of various people, we discovered a rarely violated pattern: the process of central nervous system function fading begins with younger structures responsible for mental activity and ends with the oldest perennial formations performing emotional functions.

The destruction of psychic centers begins with the Svadhisthana chakra — the sacral center. At the same time, the human body loses the ability to digest food, and therefore most dying people lack appetite. At this time, they can only experience thirst to enhance the functioning of the astral body, which consists of the water element.

For those who are next to the dying, it is obvious that the body is living its last minutes, at most — hours. Therefore, water and juices should always be at hand. Usually, at this phase, the need for intravenous drugs is no longer there. At this time, all efforts should be directed not to caring for the body, but to cleansing the Mind and opening the Heart.

One must be able to simply rest in a state of Vision, up to the experience when your Soul will stand before the Clear Light of the Path, which you must try not to miss and to discern. Seeing it, with a feeling of deep, intense devotion and trust, make the maximum effort of Will to know the Nature of this Clear Light and merge with it as one. Unite your Consciousness with It and develop a powerful faith to realize the Clear Light of the Path within yourself.

But for this, one must learn not to lose the thread of Consciousness for a single moment during dying, which constantly tends to drift away, fly off, or dissolve into Space under the influence of the wind of karmic delusions. Usually, unprepared people lose Consciousness, in most cases, for approximately three days. After regaining consciousness, they also then experience the unfolding of a spontaneous presence with its inherent Light or rays of Light, sounds, and representatives of the Subtle World.

By the end of the "anaerobic maturation period," memory, slowly and gradually, but already in its incomplete volume, having discarded all gross-material and grounded aspects, will begin to return to the Consciousness of the deceased. This state for each Soul can last from a few earthly "moments," "hours," "days," "weeks," "months," and sometimes up to several "years," — depending on the level of development of the person's Consciousness, their mental state at the moment of Death, the nature of Death, their sphere of interests during Life, etc.

Usually, Souls of people who categorically rejected even the slightest possibility of their post-mortem existence during their Life remain in such a long, uncertain state. The exit of the Soul from such a state after Death is carried out very slowly and gradually with the help of specialists from the Astral World.

Second Phase of Transition: The Tunnel Effect, Clear Light

According to our numerous astral observations, for the predominant majority of dying people who lived a normal and virtuous earthly Life, the temporary complete memory loss that accompanies the first moments of Transition either disappears very quickly or is completely absent. Instead, gradually, in various figurative variations and interpretations, a Living Clear Light appears, seemingly consisting of millions of miniature, dazzlingly sparkling diamonds of all rainbow colors, tightly pressed against each other and in continuous motion.

In this Light, a highly developed spiritual Entity is undoubtedly recognized, radiating only positively affecting vibrations onto the consciousness of the deceased, filling the entire space with emanations of Divine Love, Mercy, and Trust in All. Some smaller features of the appearance or details of the "garment" of the Being of Light cannot be immediately distinguished, because this is hindered by the continuous internal sparkling of an countless multitude of golden and silvery sparks, resembling the cheerful play of millions of sunbeams within a form that resembles a human silhouette.

But, we repeat, no matter how the further, soul-delighting events begin to unfold, each of the deceased, first and foremost, invariably begins to see in close proximity to themselves a silver human silhouette, as if forming from a transparent golden mist, or a pure and clear Light, which, simultaneously with its appearance, begins irresistibly, like metal to a magnet, to attract all his attention to Itself, increasingly merging the Consciousness of the deceased with Itself, completely overflowing him with Love and Understanding — feelings that contain the entire main meaning of Existence.

Looking at this luminous spiritual Entity, the deceased — no matter how unrighteous his past earthly Life may have been — typically feels an absolute certainty that no one can love him and sympathize with him more strongly than it can. Although this Being of Light cannot be considered in terms of its gender, from the moment of Its appearance, anyone who encounters It, be it a man or a woman, feels an unconditional attraction and a desire for complete unity towards it.

This inexplicable feeling of irresistible fusion with the Light begins to rapidly increase in the Soul, and it is simply impossible to oppose anything greater to it. Dissolving into the subtlest emanations of this Primeval Light, the Soul also begins to refine itself, losing its former density, and this energetic transformation brings the deceased a feeling of immense relief, mental unburdening, and an astonishing, truly unearthly peace.

Most dying individuals during the initial phases of Transition "pass through" the so-called "tunnel effect": they begin to see or feel very close to them a rotating, mist-like vortex of energy — similar to a tornado or whirlwind, but only in a horizontal position — which rapidly approaches, as if moving towards the deceased, and then completely engulfs, draws them into itself.

The Soul enters this, most often pitch-black, tunnel, overcoming it in different ways and with various sensations, and only after this, unexpectedly for itself, immediately appears in a brilliant country at its other, brightly lit end. But, we repeat, this process of the Soul overcoming the resistance of Matter and the subconscious aspiration of the deceased for their speedy liberation, marking the beginning of the Transition, proceeds differently for everyone, having many individual differences, depending on many causes, both purely internal, psychic, and spiritual.

There are different types of Transition through the tunnel: the one whose Consciousness willingly leaves the dense body will glide easily and quickly through the tunnel, feeling nothing but the Light approaching from afar; others, however, have to be literally forcibly "pulled" from the Physical Plane. This explains why one Soul takes a long time to awaken from sleep, while another immediately — with Joy and Love — engages in the active creative Life of the Subtle World.

Some of the dying simply see a dark, narrow tube with a shining Light at the end and calmly "rush" through it, noticing nothing around them, feeling no obstacles and hearing no unpleasant hum. These are those among the dying who have managed to truly, psychologically prepare for the Transition, and whose Soul already willingly, joyfully, and without regret leaves its physical body and this material World.

After observing some of the mandatory "formalities" of their post-mortem Transition, concerning the self-assessment of the Life they lived, having moved into the category of "finally deceased," they immediately begin to consciously and joyfully perceive their new spiritual environment. Earthly Life very quickly recedes into the background for them, because the creative "everyday life" of their new Life surpasses all, even the boldest and most optimistic, expectations.

Others, on the contrary, slowly and measuredly, as it were, "float" through a very long dark passage, the walls of which are furrowed by deep longitudinal stripes, while experiencing various extraneous noises, fragments of music, individual sounds in the form of rumbling, ringing of bells and chimes, humming, grinding, etc. This narrow passage, in their conviction, seems to connect "this" and "that" sides of Being.

Sometimes, in its black stripes, resembling endless furrows, invisible windows suddenly open by themselves, allowing the deceased to be distracted along the way for an indefinite time by all sorts of living and completely "real" pictures, embodying his most cherished lifelong dreams and unrealized desires, or secret fantasies, carefully hidden from others.

These sensations are characteristic of those among the dying whose Souls very reluctantly leave the earthly World they are accustomed to and cherish, and therefore the Archons of Destiny have to very gradually draw their Consciousnesses into the otherworldly realm, trying to mentally traumatize and violate their Consciousnesses as little as possible. Therefore, such deceased individuals require a lot of time to awaken from the sleep of earthly illusions.

But both the former and the latter understand well that they must necessarily pass through this path to get to the "other side," to their true Consciousness, and to connect the experience of their last incarnation with all the experience of their previous Existence, comprehending the Truth of where they truly made miscalculations and mistakes, and where they were simply forced to act each in accordance with their destiny.

At this stage, the Soul still remains very strongly connected to its Spirit; it is overcome by an irresistible aspiration to move further in its spiritual development, and only after it has reached higher stages of awareness in the Subtle World, when it receives its spiritual Initiation and acquires autonomy in its further existence — only then will it be able to separate from the Spirit just as it once separated from its physical conductor-body.

Angels – Helpers

No one among the deceased is left abandoned "to the whim of Fate" or unnoticed — every human Soul (after all, many so-called "non-humans" also die) receives help, care, and support. Those who loved you, relatives and friends who died earlier, meet you "there". Those who had none are met by friendly helpers, entrusted with the tasks of guiding the disoriented newcomer in the new Life that appears before him.

At the very boundary (although, of course, no boundaries actually exist, because everything is vibrations of different types of Energy!) of our three-dimensional and the "otherworldly" realms, meetings occur between the newly deceased person and the spiritual entities who helped him during Life, and who after his Death will help him pass through a part of his post-mortem Transition. The task of each of these beings is to guide their charge through "childhood" to a higher awareness.

It will fulfill its task only when a certain qualitative unfolding of Consciousness is completed. Only after one type of astral energy has transformed so much that it becomes completely different, of higher quality, purer, will it be replaced by another spiritual Mentor who will lead the deceased person to higher spiritual peaks.

It should be noted in passing that everything happens exactly the same way in Life: each Soul brings with it into its earthly incarnation also its spiritual Essence, which, even if it has a spiritual Name, nevertheless, can by no means be reduced to the level of some "person." With the growth of the earthly personality's knowledge, when all its thinking and worldview transition into another circle of vibrations, its Guardian Angel also changes, giving way to a higher form of intelligent Energy.

Every person has their own spiritual companion, who voluntarily, purely out of a sense of Love, has taken on the task of preventing their charge from falling into the abyss of life when they believe their path was wrong, or when they are in despair.

And there are also such people whose spiritual missionary incarnations require a constant spiritual connection with several Guardian Angels at once, who are assisted by many of their helpers. One should not confuse their subtle-material good Genius or disembodied Teacher with their Higher "I."

If you have overcome fear, it means you see your service to Life in the form, in the place, and at the Time in which your Soul currently needs it most. Not your personal "I," but THAT which comes into the World through you and is given to people, constitutes the creative task of your Soul. You will understand that everything living on Earth only fulfills the eternal tasks entrusted to us by God.

It is hoped that this outline, like all other books by Oris, will become for many of you the first psychological step towards overcoming the barrier of fear of Death, which will also provide significant help and bring considerable mental relief at a crucial moment for everyone.
